SFU Vancouver Lunch 'n' Learn is a series of lunch hour sessions with a dual purpose. One is showcasing how SFU Vancouver faculty members are improving lives through research, and making a positive difference in society. Climate Resilience, Community, Affordability: Lessons Learned on the Promise and Challenge of Innovative Housing Developments
In this session, SFU Renewable Cities will explore the innovative ways mixed-use housing is being built that meets a host of needs: more affordable homes, climate action and building livable, resilient communities. They will share case studies of lessons learned, successes and challenges with building mixed-use housing. Following a short presentation and response from the panel, we'll open a facilitated discussion about your thoughts on the path forward, particularly in terms of the solutions and perspectives you bring from your own areas of expertise and work.
