Furry Friends Return to Vancouver Campus with Dog Therapy!
Dog Therapy made its much-anticipated return to the Vancouver campus on March 28 as a part of our 2023 Wellness Days event!
Dogs named Elvis, Trigzee, and Inca joined us from 2:00-4:00pm in the Teck Gallery at Harbour Centre. Students, staff, and faculty took a break away from their busy schedules and gathered to get their fill of puppy snuggles and love.
The event was such a hit at Wellness Days that we decided to run another standalone Dog Therapy event at Harbour Centre on April 26. Our furry friends this month were Leo and Toby, and they shared lots of love with the SFU Vancouver campus community. These friendly pups showcased their tricks such as roll over, which everyone loved to see!
It was so great to bring Dog Therapy back to the Vancouver campus after such a long hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event can be a great stress reliever and left many with smiles on their faces as they pet and played with their new furry friends.
Please stay tuned for details on the next Dog Therapy event.
