We have a variety of ways that your organization can connect with SFU students. Please be sure to read our Posting Guidelines to ensure that your organization fulfills our requirements.

Raise Awareness

Let Volunteer Services help you raise awareness for your not-for-profit organization. If you are interested in any of the options below please email volunteer@sfu.ca.

Submit a blog article to the ENGAGE Blog or request a blog writer to write about your organization
Ask for your opportunity to be promoted on our Facebook or Twitter accounts
Encourage your volunteers to be interviewed for Volunteers of SFU
Ask for your opportunity to be highlighted in our biweekly newsletter

Use Our Posting Site

myExperience is our online job/volunteer posting system.

Before you post, please review our Volunteer Posting Guidelines. Once you have reviewed the guidelines, create an account or login with an existing account, and create a new job posting.

We will review the posting and approve it within 3-5 business days or follow up for more information.

*Note: volunteer postings are free of charge.

Community Based Projects

Being the engaged university, SFU students and faculty members are constantly seeking opportunities to connect and to work with local communities. Do you have an idea for a project that can make a positive impact to your organization? Or would you like to see team dynamics improved at your organization? Create a proposal, and work with our Business students.

**No cost is associated for participating in these opportunities.

Recruit on Campus

Volunteer Services provides on-campus events for organizations to recruit students. Find and register for events on myExperience, find an event on-campus, or email volunteer@sfu.ca. Common events on campus include:

The Volunteer Fair (part of BIG Fair) (Fall Semester)
Teaching Opportunities Fair (Spring Semester)
The miniBIG Fair (Spring Semester)
