You can assist students directly by:
- printing off or directing students to our discipline-specific resources
- telling them to sign up for our e-newsletter
- suggesting they browse the opportunities available in Symplicity, our job posting/volunteer opportunity database, viewable to all SFU students
We can help you a few different ways. We can:
- create a brief custom classroom or meeting presentation
- create a custom resource for you to provide your students or members
- create a custom email sent to you (faculty advisor, departmental manager, co-operative education coordinator, club or student union exec, etc.) summarizing current opportunities we have received that are relevant to specific academic discipline or interests

Send your opportunity to volunteer@sfu.ca. We can then:
- submit your opportunities to Symplicity, our job posting and volunteer opportunities database, viewable to all SFU students.
- foward these opportunties to relevant academic program, clubs and student groups to be forwarded to their students and members
- forward event volunteer opportunities to our mail-list of students interested in volunteering at events at SFU
- forward SFU Surrey opportunities to SFU Surrey Connect and SFU Vancouver opportunities to SFU Vancouver Connect

Forward your contacts to volunteer@sfu.ca. We can then:
- add opportunities that are connected to students' skill development or academic discipline to Symplicity, our job posting and volunteer opportunity database, viewable to all SFU students
- foward these opportunties to relevant academic program, clubs and student groups to be forwarded to their students and members
- send them the link to our online posting form so they can submit their opportunity to Symplicity.
- invite them to the Volunteer and Community Engagement Fair held every September.
