Gendered Experience

Taking advantage of the beautiful Vancouver summer and the unique setting of the Paradise Has Many Gates installation in Vanier Park, the Centre for Comparative Muslim Studies added to a day of "Sharing Our Stories" hosted by the Vancouver Biennale with a public dialogue around the gendered experience of being Muslim.

The day's programming also included a screening of digital stories produced by the Voices of Muslim Women, photographs taken by Alia Youssef of the Sisters Project and a Chat and Chai.
