HEALTH & SAFETY

We are committed to ensuring that you learn in a safe, healthy, and supportive environment. As a medical student, you’ll have access to SFU medical and health services, occupational health and safety supports, and 24/7 assistance from the SFU Campus Public Safety (CPS) team.

HEALTH PROVIDER SERVICES

SFU offers a number of campus-based medical services including assessments, care, and referrals. If you don’t currently have a primary care provider, our team can help connect you to local resources such as the Health Connect Registry, Urgent & Primary Care centres, and walk-in clinics.

SAFETY

The SFU Campus Public Safety team is available 24/7 to support your safety, respond to urgent situations, provide first aid, and offer Safe Walk services. You’ll also have access to a dedicated Safety Operations Manager within the School of Medicine who can address any safety questions or concerns.
