SFU School of Medicine faculty awarded CIHR Fall Project Grants
Three SFU School of Medicine women faculty members are among the researchers awarded funding through the latest Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Fall Project Grant competition, supporting projects that address pressing challenges across Canada’s health-care system.
Spanning primary care, long-term care and rural health, the funded research will generate new evidence to help improve equity, access and sustainability in health services and policy.
Many of the projects reflect strong collaboration with colleagues in SFU’s Faculty of Health Sciences and the University of British Columbia, highlighting the importance of cross-institutional partnerships in advancing impactful research.
