FAMILY MEDICINE PROGRAM

Applicants pursuing residency training in Canada apply through the Canadian Resident Matching Service (CaRMS). The application process and eligibility requirements differ for Canadian Medical Graduates (CMGs) and International Medical Graduates (IMGs). Prospective applicants are encouraged to review the eligibility criteria and application guidance specific to their applicant type before participating in the residency match. Applicants seeking disability-related accommodation for the MMI must contact SFU’s Centre for Accessible Learning (CAL) as soon as possible after receiving an interview invitation and no later than the deadline outlined in the interview invitation. To be considered for MMI accommodations, applicants must complete CAL’s MMI accommodation registration/intake process, as described on the CAL website, and provide supporting documentation.
