Training and Information Sessions

Training and information sessions for all faculty and staff members will be held by IT Services in the coming months to inform and prepare users for the migration. Attendees may join in person, or online via live stream (webinar).

Information sessions

The 2-hour information session will cover the following topics:

  • Overview of the transition from SFU Connect to SFU Mail
  • How to prepare, and what to expect after the transition
  • Key differences between the SFU Connect and SFU Mail
  • Walkthrough of methods of accessing your new SFU Mail account
  • Where to direct additional questions regarding the transition

Attendees may join in person or online via a live stream link that will be published on the session date. No registration is needed for the live stream, however, attendees will need to sign in with their SFU Computing ID and password. To modify or cancel your in-person registration, please contact .

A recording of the session will be published online after its conclusion. Please note: We have discovered that users who have not changed their SFU Computing password in 15+ years experienced issues accessing the live stream or recordings of the sessions. The recommended workaround is to perform a password change.
