Policy
When, with the written approval of the University official to whom he/she reports, a Vice-President, dean or department chair delegates to an associate within his/her office, the authority to carry out specific duties assigned to him/her, for a specified time which has been stated in writing, and the person to whom such authority has been delegated has exercised that authority, the intent of University policies and procedures shall be deemed to have been fulfilled.
