Conflict of Interest

This course provides an introduction to the concept of conflict of interest, and how personal bias can create it. It also describes types and areas COIs can occur in and provides several examples of COIs, including a real-world case study. The course also discusses the importance of disclosure, and reviews SFU’s specific process for disclosure, where the individual details the potential conflict and the proposed management plan.
