ArtsLIVE is a university-wide artistic and cultural activation of SFU spaces primarily for students aimed towards transforming the campus experience into one that is welcoming, vibrant and engaging.

Vibrant Community

Through live music, song, dance film, digital arts, poetry and broad cultural activations - reflecting the core values of equity, diversity and inclusion - ArtsLIVE aims to elevate the collective spirits of all. 

Vibrant Identity 

SFU ArtsLIVE will redefine most importantly student but also faculty, staff, and the public's engagement across campus spaces in an uplifting celebration of creativity, culture and inclusiveness. From concept to execution, SFU ArtsLIVE will hold space for Indigenous and diverse voices gathered together in a spirit of celebration. 

Creative Spaces

SFU ArtsLIVE is a university-wide student welcoming and wellness cultural initiative aimed at enriching campus life. Weekly live arts pop-ups and performances will animate unique spaces across all three SFU campuses. Through the arts and culture, we join together as a campus community to celebrate differences, engage in shared experience, and foster rich campus identity.

Healthy Campus, Healthy Hearts & Minds

In filling campus spaces with rich experiences through the arts, we will create opportunities for accessible holistic care of the emotional and spiritual self.

Rich Communities

In celebrating and holding space for the rich diversity of voices we will create a space of abundance. All engagement will be guided by EDI principles with a focus on Indigenous and alumni voices.

School Spirit & Campus Pride

In creating spaces that students, staff, faculty, and the greater public want to be a part of, we will anchor the SFU campus experience through unique and shared identity.
