SFU Career and Volunteer Services offers a range of programs and resources to support each stage of your career journey. *Recent grads who completed credit programs within the past year are eligible for a series of one-on-one appointments with an SFU career professional. We'll support you through each stage of launching your career, from identifying possibilities to finding work.

SFU Continuing Studies

SFU Continuing Studies provides a diverse range of courses, certificates and diplomas for personal and professional development. The standard $75 application fee is waived for SFU alumni when applying to any of their programs. To claim your discount, simply enter promo code SFUalumni when you apply online.

Workshops

Alumni Relations has partnered with SFU’s Beedie Career Management Centre to offer in-person and online workshops developed for all alumni. Each workshop is $10 for alumni, and Beedie alumni can access them for free.

Topics include:

  • developing a LinkedIn profile
  • the Vancouver job market
  • interviewing skills
  • job search strategies
  • and many more

In addition following workshops are available on demand and at no cost.
