The SFU Childcare Society (SFUCCS) provides care and early learning experience to over 400 children ranging in age from 3 months to 12 years old across 19 different programs and 3 different locations: SFU Burnaby Mountain Campus East and West and, Sapperton - Burnaby. Our facilities are specifically built for the provision of childcare where each program has its own dedicated indoor and outdoor play space. Each program is staffed by qualified and experienced early childhood educators.

Infant/Toddler (3-36 months)

Our Infant/Toddler programs support children aged 3–36 months in developing relationships, exploring through play, and engaging in emergent, inclusive, and responsive inquiry-based learning experiences.
3-5 Years

Our 3-5 programs support children to grow their independence and value their strengths through play and on-going, emergent project work in an inclusive environment.
School-Age (5-12 years)

School-Age (5-12 years) Care is an inclusive, recreational, play-based program. The program emphasizes the development of life skills, social connections, and emotional learning through meaningful, interest-led experiences.
