Prerequisite Waiver Request
IF YOU ARE A SEE STUDENT: You have an automatic waiver to allow you access to GEOG 362W and GEOG 324. Please email geogadv@sfu.ca if you are having issues. Please do not fill out a form.
This form is to be used for students seeking enrollment in a Geography course for which they do not meet the prerequisite or co-requisite requirements.
Following approval of this waiver, students are to follow the standard wait list procedures for courses that are full at the time of registration. Note that an approved waiver does not guarantee enrollment.
Once your form is received, your course pre-requisite will be waived no earlier than the open enrollment date of the semester. This is to reserve priority to students who already fulfill their course pre-requisites for enrollment.
If you have any questions, please reach out to geogadv@sfu.ca with your student number included.
The information on this form is collected under the authority of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (RSBC 1996, c. 165). It is related directly to and needed by the University to evaluate your application/request and to update your student record. If you have questions about the collection or use of this information, contact the Geography Undergraduate Advisors at geogadv@sfu.ca
Note: Please do not email the Geography Advisors if you have already submitted the waiver request. They will get back to you within 10 business days.
