Important reminders:

• You must include your student number in all correspondence.
• If you are seeking academic advice, please attach your advising transcript (downloadable from the Student Information System).
• The International Studies Academic Advisor will generally only take appointments with students eligible to declare a major/minor/honours in International Studies and students who have completed more than 60 credit hours. For students with less than 60 credit hours who are not wishing to declare a major/minor/honours in International Studies, please contact Student Services Academic Advising. 
  
• If you are a transfer student from another college or university, please book an appointment even if you have less than 60 credits to ensure that you are not duplicating courses here at SFU.

It is the responsibility of each student to be aware of faculty regulations as stated in the Calendar. Departmental and faculty advisors and staff are available to give advice and guidance. However, the ultimate responsibility for completeness and correctness of course selection, for compliance with and completion of program and degree requirements and for observance of regulations and deadlines rests with the student.
