CORS 2023 Undergraduate Paper Competition Finalists

Congratulations to the Math 402W students who competed in the 2023 CORS Undergraduate Student Paper Competition. Two SFU teams were selected as finalists and presented their work at the 2023 CORS Annual Meeting in Montreal.
The team of Sanjay Alwani, Weiyi Liu, Jenya Sourgaeva, and Angelika Nowlan earned an Honourable Mention as runners-up in the competition for their paper on Optimizing Product Allocation for Grocery E-Commerce Fulfillment, while the team of Terry Jeong, Jake Park, Jesse Stuparyk and Kyle Tadeo were selected as a finalist for their paper on a Simulation-optimization Problem for the Vancouver Coastal Health IPN Program.
