Intertidal Community Day 2023
In the low-low tides of July 2023, about 80 islanders and 30 people from Qualicum, Halalt, and Tla’amin Nations gathered on the intertidal for another great community event. We explored clam gardens and fish traps, drummed, and shared food and laughs. As one Tla’amin Elder said, “It’s like coming home to family”.
Community Members gathered at the intertidal.
