Yalda Saedi

Biography

Yalda earned a bachelor’s degree in Geomatics Engineering, and received her Master of Science in Geoinformatics and Earth Observation from University of Twente in the Netherlands. She was an Erasmus Mundus Scholar, and recipient of the UT Excellence Scholarship. Her career includes five years of work experience in the geospatial industry and research on the implementation of innovative methods and remotely sensed data to address the environmental issue, mitigate the consequence of climate change and natural disasters. 

Her current research focuses on developing energy systems modelling as she believes they are the key to a sustainable future to meet the needs of the growing population and achieve environmental targets.
