ΔE+: CHANGING IDEAS ABOUT ENERGY+ THROUGH MODELLING
ΔE+ explores the synergies and trade-offs at the nexus of energy+ to support effective policy development. Energy+ represents the intersection of all aspects of nature and society including energy, land, water, climate, health and other impacts on human and ecological well-being. By modelling these synergies and trade-offs our research helps society better understand the impacts we have on the environment and aids policymakers in guiding paths towards future human and environmental well-being.
Our mission is to develop tools to enhance policy development and build resilience in the future Energy+ system.
The ΔE+ team has expertise in model building and testing, running models on HPC computer systems, open source software management, and many other aspects of system modelling and evaluation. Specific capabilities of the research team include:
