Kinesiology

If you want to understand human structure and function, and their relation to movement and health, then you will be interested in this program. Study physiology, anatomy, fitness appraisal and rehabilitation.

Overview

The Kinesiology program in the Faculty of Science offers certificates in health and fitness studies and in applied human nutrition as well as major and minor programs. You can start this program at the Surrey campus.

The minor program

See the description in the Academic Calendar. You can add a minor to any major.

Michelle was interested in exercise as a science and also anatomy and physiology, so Kinesiology was a natural choice. She spent two terms working under exercise physiologists, as part of her Co-op program.
