Rosie Dhillon

B. SC. (MBB), CHF,  2006

Rosie Dhillon saves lives. After she graduated from SFU with a BSc in 2006 she moved to the beautiful island of St. Maarten in the Caribbean where she attended the American University of the Caribbean to become a doctor. She finished as one of the top of her class and subsequently moved to the US to begin her residency and rotations. As a long-time friend of hers she would update me periodically on how she was doing and I admired the amount of effort and energy she was investing into her studies, helping me to recognize the significant sacrifice that those who wish to enter the medical profession must go through. Most recently she was accepted by the infamous Mayo Clinic to complete her rotations, specializing in surgery.
