Project Communication and Stakeholder Management
Communication and stakeholder management play a critical role in achieving project objectives. In this course, you’ll explore how to manage stakeholder expectations and apply change management practices to foster collaboration and support project outcomes. You will learn to identify key stakeholders, analyze their needs, anticipate the impacts of the project and design engagement approaches. Through hands-on exercises, you’ll have a chance to create communication plans, stakeholder registers, and status reports that reflect real-world project contexts.
The final assignment is due one week after the course ends.

Required textbook:
A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide), 8th edition. Available as of January 2026 for purchase from online or local bookstores, or through the PMI website. We will expect you to have read the textbook, as this course will reference relevant chapters.
