John Edmondson
John Edmondson started his working life at a fertilizer plant, then hotel dishwasher, later branching out into gas jockey and tour guide. Upon graduation from UBC, he discovered the world of hotel management and beer production with a major brewery. That led to pub owner, consultant and finally to seminars about business finance and game theory learning.
John believes that it is not the role of a leader or instructor to teach, but it is essential to enable people to learn. Paraphrasing Winston Churchill, “I love to learn but I hate being taught”. Learning should be as interactive as possible, enabling participants to form their own opinions and understanding of issues. Learning is about the learner, not the instructor
