Sara El Rayess

Sara El Rayess holds a BA in political studies from Bishops University and a paralegal diploma from Capilano University. She is currently pursuing her MEd in education technology and learning design at Simon Fraser University.

After eight years in the legal industry, Sara was offered a teaching position at Capilano University in the legal studies department and fell in love with instructing at a post-secondary level. She has experience teaching a variety of computer application courses, as well as communications and different legal and procedural courses. She recently developed and taught her first 400-level course on e-discovery for the fall 2020 semester. 

When not working, Sara enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, mountain biking, weightlifting and doing anything outdoors.
