Kirk McDermid

Kirk McDermid, PhD, is a philosopher with expertise in critical thinking, epistemology (the study of the nature of knowledge) and philosophy of science. He recently relocated to Vancouver Island from Montclair State University in New Jersey, where he taught for 19 years, with extensive involvement in curriculum reform and pedagogical innovations. He is currently teaching at Camosun College, and has taught at Royal Roads University and Western University.
