How to purchase textbooks from Top Hat

To purchase your e-book from the publisher without a join code, follow these steps:

1. Go to the publisher website: https://tophat.com/catalog/
2. Search for the textbook by title from the catelog. Select the textbook.
3. Select the Student Buy Now option. 
4. If asked if you are an educator or a student, select Student.
5. Log in to your account. If you do not have an account, sign up using the Create One link at the bottom of the page
6. Follow login or sign-up instructions. In the school search, enter Simon Fraser University - Continuing Education and proceed.
   • If you are signing up for an account, you will need to verify your account creation by clicking the link sent to your email.
7. When asked "Are you using this eText with a Course Join Code?", select Continue without a course join code option.
8. Click Checkout with credit card and complete the checkout process.
