Graduation Checklist Deadlines
| May 8 (Friday) | Deadline to cancel application to graduate in June 2026 convocation ceremonies, if you are completing degree requirements in the Spring 2026 term. |
| May 25 (Monday) | Graduation application for completing degree requirements in the Summer 2026 term begin. |
| June 26 (Friday) | Early deadline to apply and pay for the early application fee on goSFU for graduation in October 2026 convocation ceremonies, if you are completing degree requirements in the Summer 2026 term. Note that the graduation fee will be charged for each degree, diploma and certificate for which you are applying. |
| August 14 (Friday) | Final deadline to apply and pay for the regular application fee on goSFU for graduation in October 2026 convocation ceremonies, if you are completing degree requirements in the Summer 2026 term. Note that the graduation fee will be charged for each degree, diploma and certificate for which you are applying. |
| September 8 (Tuesday) | Deadline to cancel application to graduate in October 2026 convocation ceremonies, if you are completing degree requirements in the Summer 2026 term. |

| January 2, 2026 | Last day to cancel your Fall 2025 graduation application. |
| January 19, 2026 | Spring 2026 graduation application opens. |
| April 17, 2026 | Final deadline to apply on goSFU for graduation if you are completeing requirements in the Spring 2026 term to attend convocation in June 2026. |
| April 29, 2026 | Thesis or project defence and library submission (if applicable) deadline for graduation from the Spring 2026 term. Any course work must have received a final grade by this date. |
| May 8, 2026 | Last day to cancel your Spring 2026 gradaution application. |
