Administrating CES

Department administrators schedule the Course Experience Surveys for each course at the start of every term. Managers of Academic and Administrative Services are responsible for ensuring that surveys are activated and that the survey dates are accurately set for each course.

Once departments set and publish the course surveys, instructors receive an email with their survey schedules. Instructors can find the survey schedules on their CES Portal, where they can confirm the survey dates and add Instructor Questions to the surveys. Instructors are encouraged to promote student participation in the surveys. Below are strategies we use to reach out to students and suggestions for how you can encourage participation.
