SENIORS LEADERSHIP AWARD

2026 Seniors Leadership Award: Call for Nominations

You are invited to submit a letter nominating a person aged 65+ in the community or from an organization who has contributed time and experience providing exemplary voluntary service. Seniors eligible for nomination must presently reside in the Province of British Columbia. This award is also open to seniors organizations as a whole that perform community voluntary service.

ELDER ABUSE AWARENESS TO ACTION AWARD

In 2006, to mark the first World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, the Simon Fraser University Gerontology Research Centre established an Elder Abuse Awareness to Action Award to recognize outstanding contributions made by individuals, groups, media, or businesses in British Columbia towards advancing elder abuse awareness, mitigation and prevention.
