With her academic and practical background, she has expertise in analytical and empirical approaches to understanding both space and the people in it.

The world is aging. Considering the amount of time we interact with the physical environments around us, such as our homes and cities, the importance of built environments in healthy aging cannot be overemphasized. Focusing on two critical healthy behaviours for healthy aging, "Walking and Playing," this talk will share insights driven by empirical studies investigating the relationships between such behaviours and our surrounding physical environments, primarily in cities in South Korea. This talk will highlight the roles of our homes, communities, and cities for healthy aging.
