GSWS Reads: Past/Tense

Past/Tense - An edited anthology of creative nonfiction

The undergraduate students in GSWS 306 have been working all semester on their mini autobiographies, learning as they go along about how to engage their readers and how to think critically about their life experiences in order to understand how their lives have been lived within cultural, social, political, economic, and domestic structures. Their writing has been revised through intensive peer critique and ranges through topics including immigration, sexism, schooling, romance, and family. The authors have chosen to bring their stories together in this print anthology, sponsored by the department.
