You are invited to attend a research talk by Dr. Paul Compensis of the University of Bamberg. Compensis combines classical socio-cognitive and affective paradigms with human–agent interaction and psychophysiological measures to better understand the integration and processing of socio-affective and linguistic cues.

About the speaker

“I’m a psychologist and linguist, currently working as a postdoc at the University of Bamberg. I’m passionate about experimental research, interpersonal processes, and the brain. My core interest lies in neurocognitive aspects of social interaction, particularly the integration and processing of socio-affective and linguistic cues, and the emergence of emotional and empathic responding in interaction. To achieve a better understanding of these dynamic social processes, I combine classical socio-cognitive and affective paradigms with human–agent interaction and psychophysiological measures.”

Abstract
