February 10, 2026
We are happy to share that Julian Sahasrabuddhe (BSc Math Honours, 2012) and Jemma Lorenat (PhD 2015, co‑awarded by SFU and Sorbonne Université) have been invited to speak at the International Congress of Mathematicians (ICM) 2026, widely considered the most prestigious meeting in mathematics. Julian is now a faculty member at the University of Cambridge, and Jemma is a faculty member at Pitzer College. Their invitations to speak at the ICM reflect the significant impact and recognition of their work within the mathematical community. More about ICM 2026: https://www.mathunion.org/icm/icm-2026.
