Scholarships and Funding available to Graduate Students

Students accepted into the MBB graduate program are guaranteed financial support; the current minimum level is $6000 per semester (equivalent to $18,000 per year)* for Masters students and $6333 per semester (equivalent to $19,000 per year)* for PhD students.

This level of financial support can be achieved through scholarships, fellowships, teaching assistantships, or research assistantships. More information on scholarships and fellowships.

Normally full financial support is provided through a combination of mechanisms, generally requiring that the Senior Supervisor agree to provide a research assistantship for at least one semester. You should discuss your financial assistance expectations with your proposed Senior Supervisor. While holding such support, you are expected to be engaged full time in your course work, research, and teaching duties.

The financial support offered to MBB students does not include tuition and fees.

Admission cannot be granted until a position and financial support has been defined. It is therefore imperative that all graduate students have a firm commitment from a Faculty member for supervision and financial support.

Potential applicants are encouraged to apply for national scholarships in fall of the last year of their BSc or MSc program. Students holding scholarships will be given admission priority.
