A space for all things global, intercultural, and international at Simon Fraser University. The Global Student Centre (GSC) is the campus hub for creating intercultural connections and sharing your international student experience.
The Global Student Centre will be available for your use during the upcoming final exam period.
Study Lounge @ GSC
Whether you require a quick study break, need some refreshments, or need a quiet space for focused study time, our doors are open for you on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12 to 2 pm until April 24th.
Academic Writing Drop-in Support
Student Learning Commons (SLC) Graduate Writing Facilitators are coming to the Global Student Center. Graduate Writing Facilitators are current SFU graduate students trained to offer support and guidance with academic writing. They will be available to chat about your writing needs on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12 to 2 pm on the following dates: March 28, April 3, 10, 17, 18, and 24.
The GSC hosts an array of events aimed at fostering connections among international students, cultivating an inclusive global community on campus, and celebrating intercultural diversity at SFU.
These events include:
- Global Connect: Intercultural Socials with Global Cuisines
- Global Café: International Student Dialogue Series
- Meet, Greet, Eat: Lunch and Crafts Drop-ins
- Hobby & Games Lounge
