VC Incubator client Sport For Food has recently wrapped up their 4th annual cross Canada Five Hole for Food campaign. After visiting 13 cities, they made their final stop on Granville Street in downtown Vancouver. Over the course of their 17 day tour, they have collected over 345,000 pounds of food for local food banks. This is more than the combined total of what had been collected in the three previous years’ campaigns.

Five Hole For Food is a cross Canada tour aimed at raising food, funds, and awareness by playing hockey for local food banks. In each city, they organize drop-in ball hockey games and invite people to play in exchange for donations.

Since completing this year’s cross-Canada campaign, Sport For Food has garnered a lot of media attention.
