Dr. Suzanne Hilgendorf has seen recent success this year.

Suzanne has recently had some articles published in a journal and encyclopedia.

"Beyond Center and Periphery: Plurality with Inclusivity" was published in the special issue of the journal World Englishes (2018, 37.3, pp. 472-483)  "Celebrating the Life and Work of Larry E. Smith".

"Center and Periphery" was published in The TESOL Encyclopedia of English Language Teaching, edited by John I. Liontas (Hoboken, NJ: Wiley. Pp. 1-7).

The following article written by Suzanne has been identified as one of the most popular and accessed entries in the 10-volume encyclopedia, and therefore she has been invited to revise and update the entry for publication in the forthcoming 600-page Concise Encyclopedia of Applied Linguistics.

"History of Language Teaching Methods" in the Encyclopedia of Applied Linguistics (edited by Carol Chapelle. Oxford, UK: Wiley-Blackwell. Pp. 2522-2525)

Finally, Suzanne has been invited to organize a featured panel at the 12th International Symposium of Bilingualism, which will be held at the University of Alberta June 23-28, 2018.
