Centre for Accessible Learning (CAL)
What we do
We provide disability related information and support to the SFU community and campus visitors, and act as liaison between students and faculty in the implementation of disability-related services and accommodations. We facilitate student growth and leadership skills. The Centre advocates on issues related to diversity, educational equity, and academic achievement.
Who should visit CAL
CAL visitors include students with a documented or suspected disability, and students looking for volunteer opportunities, along with anyone with questions about equal educational opportunities at SFU. Faculty members teaching students with disabilities or who suspect a student may have a disability are also welcome. Additonally, visitors to any SFU campus who require information on physical access or other disability-related issues should visit the Centre.
