The Programming & Learning Department at the Vancouver Public Library is introducing a partnership program with RBC to host a Career and Breakfast Series for young adults (aged 18-24).

The Biotech & Life Sciences event includes a panel of people representing different areas within biotech & life sciences who will speak to young people about what inspires and excites them about their chosen field.  This event provides young people with the opportunity to learn about exciting new career paths while making important contacts and accessing key information about education, salary, work experience, and more. One-on-one meetings with career advisors are also available at this event.

Panelists are Jason Crawford, VP of Scientific Operations (Centre for Drug Research and Development); Ellie Griffith, Senior Sector Manager of Health (Genome BC); Rebecca De Souza, Application Scientist (Precision NanoSystems, Inc.); Lesley Esford, President (LifeSciences BC).

Includes a free, fully catered breakfast!
