December 02, 2018

Science Alive SFU and Girls CanCode are hosting this event for grade 2-8 girls to introduce them to computer science and coding through a variety of hands-on and interactive activities, including robotics! Computer science is becoming increasingly important and yet we still have a large gender gap in the field. This program will provide a fun and non-competitive environment where girls can use their creativity and discover how computer science fits into their lives.

This is a buddy event meaning that each girl brings a responsible adult in the life to the event. The adults will participate in a informative workshop as well as a portion of the hands-on coding activities! Come support your girl as she builds skills and confidence.
