The Junior Academy: STEM Challenge for students aged 13-19

Students aged 13-19 who are interested in solving the world’s greatest challenges are invited to apply to the Junior Academy a part of the Global STEM Alliance initiative of the New York Academy of Sciences.  Successful applicants gain lifelong access to exclusive educational opportunities and a remarkable global STEM network through Launchpad, a virtual collaboration platform. Students will get to participate in a 10-week challenge and an optional 4-week bootcamp in which they will develop advanced research, innovation, and collaboration skills.

Where: Anywhere! This program is virtual; all participants will need access to a computer and a reliable internet connection
Who: Students (13-19 years old) from anywhere in the world
Price: Free!

The application deadline is June 30, 2016. Applicants must receive a positive endorsement from an educator to participate. 500 students will be accepted for 2016. To apply for the program click here.
