Kevin Lam wins SFU Excellence in Teaching Award!

We're thrilled to announce that our very own Dr Kevin Lam is the recipient of the 2018 Excellence in Teaching Award! 

Only three such awards are given each year across the whole university and competition is fierce.  Kevin's nomination package, which included 43 pages of testimonials from students, TAs and colleagues, is full of superlatives. Kevin is described as having genuine passion for teaching, infectious enthusiasm, an unwavering commitment to his students, and playing a pivotal role in many students' decisions to pursue a career in science. The words 'above and beyond' are used again and again.  Oh, and he has an amazing memory for names!

This is another dazzling feather in the cap of our incredible Teaching Faculty, and of Biology as a whole.
