Third Annual Biology World Poetry Day Contest

Happy World Poetry Day!

It is our great pleasure to announce the winners of the third annual Biological Sciences Poetry Contest.  We would like to thank all the contributors.  This was a delightful task for the outreach and engagement committee!  We enjoyed reading all the poems and the margin between first and third was very small.

1^st prize – "The Intrepid Biologist" by Saif Nayani (Gries Lab)
2^nd prize - “Listeria Beware” by Petra Mcleod (Guttman Lab)
3^rd prize – “Notes from Patagonia – Barren Islands Alaska" by Dr. Pat Baird (CWE)
