Aquatic Plants

Aquatic plants range from primitive (algae) to more advanced flowering vascular plants (water lilies). Growth formations are varied, where some live entirely below the water’s surface (submersed), have leaves and stems go above the water’s surface (emergent), or may be entirely free floating or partially floating.
