Hosting Powerful Conversations: Designing Participatory Processes
Meaningful dialogue does not happen by accident. It is intentionally designed and skillfully hosted. In this interactive course, you’ll learn foundational practices from the Art of Hosting, a framework used to convene meaningful dialogue, co-create knowledge and support collective decision-making. Using methods such as World Café and ProAction Café, you’ll learn to design participatory processes that will enrich both in-person and online gatherings by focusing on hosting conversations that matter, rather than on controlling outcomes.
Through online activities, you’ll design participatory meetings, bring real-world challenges to your peers, and practice coaching and collective inquiry skills you can use immediately in your work.
