Eligibility:
Must be a citizen of any country outside the UK.
Must be applying to pursue one of the following full-time residential courses of Cambridge: (1) PhD (3 year research-only degree); (2) MSc or MLitt (2 year research-only degree); (3) one year postgraduate course (e.g. MPhil, LLM, MASt, Diploma, MBA, etc.).

Scholarships are awarded to outstanding applicants from countries outside the UK to pursue a full-time postgraduate degree in any subject available at the University of Cambridge.
The ideal candidate demonstrates academic excellence, leadership potential, a commitment to improving the lives of others, and a good academic fit with Cambridge.
For PhD students who meet unforeseen circumstances and are unable to complete in three years, some fourth year funding may be provided.

Eligibility:
Be a citizen of or refugee in Australia, The Bahamas, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Cyprus, Malta, or New Zealand, and be permanently resident in one of these countries.
Hold a first degree of at least upper second class (2:1) honours standard, or a second class degree and a relevant postgraduate qualification (usually a Master’s degree).
Details:
The scholarships offer up to 36 months’ support towards completion of a three-year full-time doctoral postgraduate qualification at an eligible UK university.
Intended beneficiaries are high-quality graduates who have the potential to become influential leaders, teachers, or researchers in their home countries, and whose proposed research topic has been described to the satisfaction of the selection committee as having a focus on innovation and leadership, for the benefit of wider society.

Korea Foundation - Graduate Studies Fellowship

Citizenship: Non-Korean
General: research on topics related to Korea within the context of humanities, social science studies or arts and culture studies
Eligibility:
Foreign students of good standing who are MA or PhD candidates, currently enrolled on a graduate program (excluding programs in natural science, medicine and engineering, and programs at a business school, law school or a school of translation and/or interpretation), and conducting research on topics related to Korea within the context of humanities, social science studies or arts and culture studies.
Applicants must be in residence at the university.
Applicants proficient enough in Korean to use original Korean-language texts for their study and research are especially encouraged to apply.
Korean nationals may apply for this fellowship program only if they are a permanent resident of a foreign country.
Details:
This fellowship is aimed to foster a new generation of Korean Studies scholars by providing scholarship support to students who are currently enrolled in an MA or PhD program in Korean Studies. The research (thesis) topic should be related to South Korea or the Korean peninsula.
Fellowship tenure is 1 academic year but renewal is possible. MA students are eligible for up to 2 years of funding. PhD students are eligible for up to 3 years of funding.
Fellowship recipients, upon obtaining their degree, are required to submit a copy of their MA thesis or PhD dissertation to the Foundation. Fellowship recipients are also required to report to the Foundation any future research accomplishments and noteworthy developments in their research career.

The International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF) works with prestigious universities in Taiwan to select students to receive full scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate programs taught in English.
The duration can be two years maximum (for Master’s program), or four years maximum (for English-taught undergraduate or doctoral program), five years maximum (for for Mandarin-taught undergraduate program).
