SFU's Burnaby campus is served by four bus routes: the R5 RapidBus (formerly 95 B-line/135), 143, 144, and 145. For more information on routes, scheduling, etc. please see Translink’s webpage.

Students have access to UPass, a discounted bus pass.

Electric Vehicle Charging

SFU's Burnaby campus currently has two different types of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations on campus. There is no additional charge to use the station, however the Permit or Daily Rate required in each lot remains in effect for the EV Reserved stalls.

Campus Community Shuttle

The campus community shuttle runs every 30 minutes, Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 10:30 pm*.

Cycling

SFU has a small but vibrant cycling community. Some people ride up and down Burnaby mountain, some take the bus up and ride down, and some come specifically to SFU to enjoy the mountain biking trails.

Evolve E-bike share

Thirty Evolve E-bikes are available to ride on Burnaby Mountain 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The electric pedal-assist bikes can be found at nine designated parking stations strategically located across campus, including outside student residences to the west and in the UniverCity neighbourhood to the east.

Car Share

Car sharing services provide vehicles for a fee to invidivuals for short term use. 

Two car sharing companies have partnered with SFU Parking and Sustainable Mobility to bring their vehicles to SFU's Burnaby campus: EVO, and Modo.
