Burnaby campus offers multiple parking lots for permit-holders and visitors. Choose the one closest to your destination on campus.
Parking on campus
During peak parking times, parking lots may become full.
- When North lot is full, try East or South lot
- When West lot is full, try Residence West lot
General tips
- Many lots are full by 10:30am most weekday mornings.
- On busy mornings, North Lot - full around 9:30, East Lot - full around 10:30, and South Lot full around 11:30.
- Check the live map to take the free Campus Shuttle, providing easy transport from Residence West Lot or South Lot.
- Keep an eye on the latest traffic notices on campus, and allow extra time for parking and navigating campus.

Know where your Permit is Valid
- Outdoor Permits are valid in the permit only areas of North Lot and East Lot, and in South Lot, and Residence West Lot (Outdoor Permit Map)
- Indoor Permits are valid in the West Parkade and South Parkade. Permits are also valid in the permit areas of North Lot and East Lot, and in South Lot, and Residence West Lot (Indoor Permit Map)
- Residence West Lot Permits are valid only in the Residence West Lot (Residence West Permit Map)
- Contractor Permits are only valid in the Contractor Lot or in the Residence West Lot. (Contractor Permit Map)
- FlexPasses are valid in the visitor areas of North Lot and East Lot, and in South Lot, the Residence West Lot, and in the West Parkade, and South Parkades. (FlexPass Map) They are also valid in the City Centre and South Outdoor Lots on the Surrey Campus. (Surrey Parking Map)
