Your SFU application journey includes a number of important dates and deadlines. Explore the key dates by admission intake term below - whether you are thinking about applying, have already submitted an application, or have been offtered admission to SFU.

- The Admission Application opens for Summer 2027 on Education Planner BC. Check admission requirements.
- Residence and Housing applications open for Summer 2027.
September 15
- Deadline to apply for Summer 2027 Admission on Education Planner BC.
Starting January through late March
- Admission decisions are made on a rolling basis.
February 1
- Admission document submission deadline for all applicants.

- Deadline to apply for SFU Residence and Housing.
Starting January
- Accept your offer - Check your email for the Admission Offer Letter which indicates the deadline to accept your offer in Student Centre.
March
- Transfer Credit report is available for International Baccalaureate, A-Level and Advanced Placement. See your Student Centre for details.
- Course registration begins. For support with course registration see Enrolment Services.
Late April to early May
- Deadline to submit final transcript(s). Please refer to the specific date in your Student Centre.
April 15
- Deadline to apply for an Admission Deferral.
May 10, 2027
- First Day of Classes for the Summer 2027 Term.
